If you are interested in completing an internship with the East Haven Police Department, please submit your resume with a cover letter via email to Professional Standards, with the subject line of Internship Request, and include the following information:
- Your goals/what you hope to learn/achieve by completing an internship with the East Haven Police Department
- What type of work you are seeking upon graduation
- Your contact information, including name, email address and a phone number
- Your schedule/availability to attend an interview
- Which university/college you attend, what year student you are, your GPA, and your major
- Your cover letter should include why you have chosen the East Haven Police Department
Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Your request must be submitted via email
Note: Ride-alongs are only allowed for students involved in active internships with the East Haven Police Department or for students of our Citizens Police Academy (when in session).
