Professional Standards Division

The goal of the Professional Standards Division is to ensure that all complaints or allegations against the East Haven Police Department or any of its employees are investigated in a thorough, fair, and impartial manner. The rights of all citizens and employees of the East Haven Police Department shall be protected and confidentiality shall be maintained at the highest standard. We strive to earn the trust and confidence of the citizens we proudly serve while maintaining the highest level of ethical behavior and integrity for the East Haven Police Department by identifying, recognizing, and resolving public safety concerns.

Forms can be submitted in person, by email, fax, or U.S. mail. In addition, a police supervisor is available 24 hours a day by phone to discuss the intake of this complaint and/or will be available to respond to speak to you or accept this complaint by calling 203-468-3820.
